Who are GBI

Founded in January 2023, expressly to manufacture and market state-of-the-art biodegradable PLA.
We are the first of our kind in the MENA region, so we’re perfectly located to capitalise on rapidly growing markets for sustainable products.
We are fully aligned with all circular economy and waste reduction regulations within the region.

Our biodegradable PLA substitutes polluting fossil plastics that possess a high carbon footprint.
Our manufacturing process is highly sustainable. Any product along our multi stage process is either a raw material to produce PLA or a sales product for human nutrition, animal nutrition, fertilisers and construction.

Our people

We will have a core team of a maximum of ten people to manage third-party contractors and consultants, making a total staff at launch of approximately 200 people.
